Morning Jolt: Damon to White Sox next year?
Monday, November 2
Today's must-see content delivered straight to you.
If the Yankees don't bring Johnny Damon back, the White Sox look like a good fit. They need a leadoff hitter, and while they'd love to sign free agent Chone Figgins and move him to the outfield, he may get too pricy. While Damon has been a No. 2 hitter for the Yankees, he could easily go back to the top spot and give the White Sox some leadoff power. (Boston Globe)Comment
Report: Vikes FB hurt in locker-room horseplay
Green Bay's defensive players weren't the ones to feel Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson's wrath this weekend. Peterson and teammate Naufahu Tahi were involved in horseplay that accidentally led to the Vikings fullback being unable to play Sunday against the Packers, a source told FOXSports.com. Peterson and Tahi were wrestling Saturday in the team's locker room when the latter accidentally injured the area around his eye. Vikings coaches believed Tahi was going to play Saturday night but had to declare him inactive for the Packers game after overnight swelling. (Fox Sports)Comment
