Dodger treated for gunshot wound
Vicente Padilla, who revived his career in the Dodgers' run to the National League Championship Series, was treated for a minor self-inflicted gunshot wound in his right leg at a hospital in his native Nicaragua on Tuesday, his agent Adam Katz said. Katz described the incident as a "hunting accident," saying that Padilla was grazed in his right thigh by a bullet. Katz said that Padilla spent 30 to 40 minutes at a hospital and was discharged. Heat settles lawsuit with Seikaly
The Heat filed a lawsuit a few weeks ago against Rony Seikaly, its first No. 1 draft pick (1988), but reached a settlement that Seikaly seems happy with. The problem was that Seikaly did not pay for his seldom-used AmericanAirlines Arena floor seats last season or this season (the last year of his lease) because he's spending most of his time overseas as a traveling disc jockey. ``I'm playing every corner of Europe.
