Hot Clicks: Miami Heat dancers; Gisele Bundchen gives birth

CLICK HERE FOR TUESDAY'S P.M. HOT CLICKS.In a recent edition of Hot Clicks, I mentioned that VH-1 will soon air a reality "docu-drama" about NBA wives. It turns out the Miami Heat will play a big role in the show. According to that previous link, among those with ties to the team who will be featured is a former dancer. If she's anything like the current crop of dancers, the show will be a must-watch. Well, maybe a must-check-out-once-for-a-few-minutes. But at least this gives me a reason to also link up these photos from the Heat dancers' season poster.

If you follow me on Twitter, you know that one of the greatest shows ever debuted last week. Yes, I'm talking about Jersey Shore. There's really no way for me to fully explain the genius of The Situation and Snookie in this space. You just have to watch -- Thursdays at 10 p.m. on MTV -- to see for yourself. But I can tell you that one of the cast members is a former women's college soccer player, and Writing the Pine has tried to relate quotes from the show to sports figures. This is an example of an e-mail that makes me smile. B. Bierut, of Charlotte, N.C., says, "Every year when March Madness begins we hear stats about the loss of economic production directly related to employees following the tourney from work. Have any studies been run yet to see if Hot Clicks two-a-days have had a similar impact?" This is an example of an e-mail that makes me sad. Jon, of Albany, N.Y., says, "Hey, Jimmy. I often go to Hot Clicks to check out what new stuff you have. However, I don't believe I have seen any coverage on the Victoria Secret's runway fashion show from Dec. 1 on CBS." Apparently Jon reads often but missed this, this, this and this.
