Hot Clicks: Kobe Bryant to appear on 'Modern Family'

The best sitcom on TV is Modern Family. ABC is airing a repeat episode at 8 p.m ET and a fresh episode at 9 p.m. tonight. Anyway, there is a sports connection here. Two stars, Sofia Vergara and Ty Burrell, taped a scene for an upcoming show at last night's Lakers game and Kobe Bryant filmed a cameo.

Last August, Adrian Beltre experience a painful injury when he took a ground ball to the groin area while not wearing a cup. Despite his testicle swelling to "the size of a grapefruit" and suffering a tear, Beltre says he's still not convinced he should wear the protective device.

Nathan, of Green Bay, Wis., says, "I have three NBA jerseys in my wardrobe: a Michael Finley jersey from the Suns, a Damon Stoudamire jersey from the Raptors and a Penny Hardaway jersey from the Magic. I bought them the year before they left those teams. Now I have a chance to buy a jersey of LaBron before he even signs with the Knicks. Hell, yeah, I'll buy one! Maybe that way he'll stay in Cleveland."
