Immediately after Gordon Hayward's desperation half-court shot clanked off the rim, everyone fantasized about what would've been had the ball dropped into the net. But would the shot have counted? SI.com's college basketball producer, Gennaro Filice, alerted me this morning to the photo above that shows 00.1 seconds on the game clock -- and for some reason 00.3 seconds on the arena clock. As you can see, the ball is still (barely) in Hayward's hand with a tick left. Could you imagine the anarchy that would've taken place had the shot went in and the refs had to wave it off?

The onslaught against CBS for butchering One Shining Moment has rolled on this afternoon. Thunder Treats has the full list of teams left out of the montage. Aaron Wiens, of Fresno, Calif., has started a "Bring Back the Original One Shining Moment" Facebook page. And here's a Facebook page dedicated to getting Gus Johnson to call the NCAA tournament final next year.

Steve, of Highlands Ranch, Colo., says, "Jimmy, I saw this link on another site today for a gallery of a girl I'd never seen before, Danielle Lloyd. A little searching revealed she's a former Miss UK who had her title stripped for appearing in Playboy." Hopefully giving her LLOD honors can help her recover from that tragedy.
