Pavelski leads Saturday's Three Stars

1. Joe Pavelski: At least the Sharks had one Joe going. Pavelski scored the big goals throughout, including the series-clinching GWG.

2. Matt Cooke: The defending Stanley Cup champs advance not because of Sidney Crosby or Evgeni Malkin, but due to Cooke scoring twice, including the game-tying goal midway through the third period, completing a comeback from a 3-0 deficit. Cooke's work made possible the OT GWG by PascalDupuis.

3. Marian Hossa: From goat to OT game-winner. That was Hossa's late-game odyssey. Assessed a five-minute major for hitting DanHamhuis from behind, the Blackhawks unbelievably tied the game short-handed in the final minute of regulation, then killed the balance of the major in overtime, which allowed Hossa to exit the box and score the deciding goal. Improbable? Yes, but true.
