Hot Clicks: Cameron Diaz; Kirk Gibson auctions off famous HR bat

Jimmy is off today trying to erase the memory of last night's Yankees-Rangers game. And what a game it was. There was the controversial home run that was, the controversial home run that was then was not and this Yankee fan providing a GIF that will keep on giving. Yankee first baseman Mark Teixeira blew out a hamstring and is out for the rest of the playoffs while Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton hit a pair of home runs and then quoted Anchorman in describing his performance. Of course the strangest part of this series might be the crazed Cameron Diaz-loving fan (not Brett Favre)who ran onto the field Monday night to go after Alex Rodriguez. So in honor of A-Rod (and his $32 million salary in 2010), here's Diaz looking her finest.

This Just Looks Bad

This 1984 photo is of Michigan native Kirk Gibson. You may know him as the guy who hit one of the the most famous home runs in World Series history. Though Gibson hit that home run in a Dodgers uniform and is currently coaching the Diamondbacks, his heart will always be in Michigan. That's why he decided to sell the bat used to hit the famous home run with the proceeds going to support Michigan State athletics and two Michigan area high schools.

I don't know anything about today's Formula One Racing, much less 30 years ago. But if this story is true and legendary driver James Hunt really did sleep with 33 stewardesses in two weeks, well, I probably still won't watch Formula One. But it's quite a story.
