The man above is Montana Tech football coach Bob Green, who retired this week after 24 years on the job. Several readers have asked that I acknowledge this by sharing Green's unique way with words ("That's a double-edged sword, ya know. It's kinda like watching your mother-in-law go off a cliff in a Cadillac. You got mixed feelings" and "I got a short memory. Just like when I was in the third grade. Last night's episode of Modern Family was outstanding from start to finish, mainly because Manny was front and center for all 30 minutes, and because Sofia Vergara was, well, Sofia Vergara. (Here's one memorable scene.) So I had no choice but to reward Vergara with today's LLOD honors.
