The frenzy for the greatest coach in football history has spiraled out of control. Never before has one man been in such demand. Never before has one football mind been so coveted. Never before have offers of $8 million per year for a coach been so insulting. But this is the situation with Jim Harbaugh, and now we're all sitting back and waiting to see who will get his final rose.

In Demand

UPDATE: Just as Hot Clicks was being published, ESPN reported Harbaugh had accepted a five-year deal with the Niners. The video is still worth watching, though.

SI's college basketball expert Luke Winn (follow him on Twitter) has an interesting story. A friend of his -- and Oregon alum -- received two tickets for Monday's national title game as a Christmas present. They were great seats, purchased off of StubHub for approximately $3,500. StubHub, however, needs the tickets back because the demand is out of control. The company has offered Winn's friend his approximately $3,500 back PLUS another $7,000 for the two tickets. The friend took the deal (although he's still going to Arizona for tailgates) and will try to get inside for less. Obviously, there's no guarantee he'll get in. This led to a discussion in the SI.com newsroom that got very heated with some people saying they would take the money and others say they wouldn't want to miss the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. What would you do?

What Would You Do?

Many people are wondering whatever happened to the Auburn fan who became a YouTube "star" for heckling the school's AD and coach Gene Chizik when Chizik was hired.

Lovely Lady Of The Day

While reading my New York Daily News this morning, I saw a blurb that said Vince McMahon is rumored to have contacted LeBron James about appearing at WrestleMania 27 on April 3. Obviously, this would be tremendous, especially if Vince used LeBron as a villain. However, I e-mailed the WWE to confirm the report and I was told there's nothing to the story. They said they did not reach out to LeBron. The other problem is that the Heat have a game the night Wrestlemania, so things couldn't have worked out anyway. And that's a shame.

Buzzkill

Let's hope this comment about the head slap technique was just a slip of the tongue from Hall of Fame defensive lineman Deacon Jones in this old-school interview.

Huh?

Hot Clicks Nation favorite Jaime Edmondson wanted to say hello to you guys, so she sent in this picture from a photoshoot she's currently on. Since she was kind enough to do that, the least I can do is remind you to vote for her for Playboy's 2011 Playmate of the Year.

Jaime Edmondson Says Hello

At some point this weekend, you must watch this interview with Rutgers football player Eric LeGrand, who was paralyzed in a game earlier this season.

Sports Video Of The Day

Normally, I don't post videos that are 22 minutes long, but, hey, it's the weekend. The trailor for this full comedic short ("Saved by the Belding") was featured in Hot Clicks a while ago, but here is the full film about Saved by the Bell brothers, Richard and Rod Belding.
