Last summer, some video clips from the documentary, Playing for Peanuts, which focused on independent league manager (and former Mets second baseman) Wally Backman, were released onto the web. And we all enjoyed watching the feisty, foul-mouthed skipper go nuts. Well, another clip has leaked. By my count, Backman says the f-word 5,219 times.

John Steigerwald of Observer-Reporter.com thinks the Giants fan who was put in a coma at the end of the Dodgers home opener was to blame for the situation because he had the gall to wear a Giants jersey to Dodgers Stadium. In addition, the story identifies the victim as Bryan Snow. It's Bryan Stow. And he's from Santa Cruz, not Sacramento. And the column has a typo in the headline.
