Cowboys wide receiver Roy Williams has filed a lawsuit against former Miss Texas USA Brooke Daniels, to get back a $76,000 engagement ring. The ring must have sentimental value to Williams. He probably gets all emotional when he thinks about giving it to Daniels and asking her for her hand in marriage. He probably replays that moment in his head over and over. Oh, wait. That's right. No such moment occurred because HE MAILED THE ENGAGEMENT RING TO HER.

The Cardinals run a promotion in which fans at the game get a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts for $2.99 when the team gets nine more hits. Last night, against the Reds, St. Louis recorded nine hits. This prompted Cincinnati second baseman Brandon Phillipsto Tweet, "Since the #cards got 9 hits tonight, can someone hook me up with some Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for $2.99? I saw the promotion at the game. LOL" Sure enough, the Cardinals marketing department hooked up Phillips.

A bunch of NFL players along with a bunch of actors made a Funny or Die video that combines Field of Dreams with the lockout. Also featured in the video is actress Marielle Jaffe. Many of you have already written in to nominate her for LLOD honors. As always, though, Hot Clicks is way ahead of the game. She was given the honor in late April.
