In case you missed it, there were plenty of fireworks in yesterday's Angels-Tigers game. For starters, Detroit pitcher Justin Verlander was working on another no-hitter in the eighth inning when Anaheim shortstop Erick Aybar tried to bunt for a base hit. This violation of one of those unwritten baseball rules did not sit well with Verlander, who let Aybar know a pitch may be coming at him down the road. However, the real fun took place in the seventh inning when Tigers infielder Carlos Guillen put on a massive over-the-top display after hitting a home run off Angels starter Jered Weaver. This led to Weaver heaving one up and in at the next batter, Alex Avila, which got Weaver ejected.
