After giving up a couple of runs last night, Cubs reliever Kerry Wood came off the mound and threw his glove and hat into the crowd. It wasn't a big deal, but since this is something we rarely see, a reporter asked him about the incident after the game. For some reason, Wood got angry about the question and stormed off.

When you're on a first date, you usually try to lay low and get to know each other. This couple, for some reason, decided to bring a sign that announced they were on a first date to last night's Diamondbacks game. The result? They ended up being interviewed on TV, and put on the spot about a second date.

They Asked For It

The bidding is up to $4,000.

Anybody Want Bobby Petrino's Smashed Up Motorcycle?

As I've told you before, for some strange reason, I'm on a PR mailing list for the adult website, Pornhub. (Honestly, I have no idea why this happened.) Anyway, they e-mailed me today with some interesting poll results. The site asked its "users" to vote for the hottest NBA WAG. Eliza Dushku (girlfriend of Rick Fox) led the way at 31 percent of the votes. Adriana Lima (wife of Marko Jaric) came in at second place with 23 percent of the vote. Since it's a travesty Lima did not win this very important poll, I'm making her today's Lovely Lady of the Day.

Here are the rest of the results: Maria Sharapova, (Sasha Vujacic) (15 percent); Gabrielle Union (Dwayne Wade) (12 percent); Vanessa Bryant (Kobe Bryant) (6 percent); La La Anthony (Carmello Anthony) (4% percent).
