I don't want to oversell this one, but legendary announcer Vin Scully joined me on the newest edition of The Hot Clicks Podcast, and it was glorious. The Hall of Fame brodcaster reminisced about his 63 years with the Dodgers and his time calling the NFL, while sharing his philosphy on why he likes a one-man booth and why he doesn't have any favorite announcers. You can listen to the podcast via the player below, download it on iTunes or download it to your mp3 player.

Last night's Hard Knocks was full of memorable moments. Ryan Tannehill sang Lean on Me, the offensive line coach made erection jokes while the team watched the Dolphins cheerleaders' Call Me Maybevideo and Chad Johnson got cut, which you can watch here.

Action Packed Episode

The temptation of a blank tile was too much to handle for one participant in Scrabble's national tournament that took place in Florida on Tuesday. An unnamed man was ejected from the competition for trying to hide two blank tiles. Sadly for him, the scam was up when he dropped the tiles on the floor.

A Tournament Rocked By Scandal

Since this edition is anchored by a podcast with Vin Scully, I thought Hot Clicks should feature one of the Dodgers' biggest fans, and a person who is near and dear to any male who grew up in the '80s, Alyssa Milano.

Yesterday was Tim Tebow's 25th birthday. A certain network treated the occasion as if it were the biggest sports story of the year.

Embarrassing

I have five copies of the Miami Heat 2012 NBA Finals Champions DVD/Blu-ray Combo (which can be purchased via this site or iTunes) to give away. First five people to e-mail me (Jimmy_Traina@simail.com) the answer to the following question win the DVD. You must e-mail me and put "Contest" in the subject line.

1. How many times has LeBron James appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 2012?

UPDATE: Contest is over. Winners have been e-mailed. Answere was 4.

Giveaway Of The Day

I don't think you can be more composed than this reporter. He never flinches or pauses, despite someone almost getting killed behind him.

The wind did quite a number on this sign in Calgary yesterday. (Thanks to Rod, of Calgary, for the video.)
