College Athlete of the Year

There's a new award on the college sports landscape: This year, SI is selecting its inaugural men's and women;s College Athlete of the Year. SI editors selected five male and five female athletes who have achieved athletic distinction and have had an outsized impact in the classroom or in their communities. Beginning on May 8, fans can go to SI.com/collegeathleteto vote for their favorites. The winning male and female athletes will be announced on SI.com on May 22 and featured in the May 27 issue of Sports Illustrated
