Steven, a 6-foot-10 rising senior forward at Norwalk High, had 29 points, 14 boards and five blocks in High Rise Team Ups’s final game at the Reebok Showdown in Philadelphia. He made the all-star team at the Pangos All-American camp in June, earning him a spot at the NBA Top 100 camp.

Scottsdale, Ariz. > Volleyball
Khalia, a 6-foot-3 outside hitter and rising junior at Xavier Prep, had 20 kills to lead the Arizona Storm to a second straight national title, beating TAV Black of Fort Worth, 2-0 for the 16-and-under open division gold medal at junior nationals in Minneapolis. She was PrepVolleyball.com’s national sophomore of the year.
. Reece Whitley
Lafayette Hill, Pa. > Swimming
Reece, a rising freshman at the Penn Charter School, won the men’s open 100-meter breaststroke in 1:03.82 at the Middle Atlantic long course senior championships in Lewisburg, Pa., to set the 13-to-14 national age group record. Reece also won the 200 breast in 2:16.48, lowering his own age-group mark by 3.26.

Phoenix > Tennis
Madison, a rising senior at Xavier Prep, won the inaugural New Balance high school nationals title in Cambridge, Mass., 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 over Jenna Moustafa of Los Angeles. In May, Madison won a second straight Division I state title and helped the Gators to their third straight team championship.
