Cyclist Lizzie Armitstead was hospitalized on Wednesday after losing control of her bike and crashing while celebrating her victory at the finish line.

Armistead won stage one of the Aviva Women’s Tour but will not race in the second stage on Thursday due to the accident, according to The Guardian.

The Guardian reports that Armistead was taken away on a stretcher with her head in a neck brace and went to a local hospital, which she left several hours later after check-ups.

Armistead later wrote a message on Twitter updating her condition:

“I remember winning with the help of my team mates and then not much else, but I am ok, nothing broken just very sore, thank you for all your kind messages and to the NHS staff who took care of me so well. I won't start tomorrow in the hope of recovering properly for the Nationals.”
