Jordan Brand is hyping Luka Doncic's first matchup with the Dallas Mavericks since they traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers.

On Tuesday, a new ad dropped that showed a figure in a hoodie walking behind a purple car and changing a Texas license plate numbered "77" to a purple California plate with the same number. Then the car starts and begins rumbling before the screen changes to black with red lettering saying, "FULL TANK. NO MERCY."

It's a great ad that pays homage to the fact that Doncic was clearly upset by the trade.

In four games since the Mavericks shipped him to LA, Doncic has averaged 19.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists in 27.8 minutes per game. He has been working his way back from a calf injury that sidelined him for nearly two months. In Saturday's 123–100 win over the Denver Nuggets, Doncic had his best showing so far in the purple and gold. He scored 32 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out seven assists and had four steals in 31 minutes.

The Lakers welcome the Mavericks to Crypto.com Arena Tuesday night, as Anthony Davis and Max Christie make their returns to L.A. and Doncic faces his old team.
