NBA World Reacts to Myles Turner's Stunning Deal With Bucks

In this story:
The Indiana Pacers fell just short of winning their first NBA title last month. Now they've lost a key player from that team as free agent center Myles Turner has agreed to a huge four-year, $107 million deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Turner, who averaged just over 15 points and 6.5 rebounds last season, will now team up with Giannis Antetokounmpo in Milwaukee, who lost to Indiana in the first round of the playoffs in April.
The Bucks also waived Damian Lillard shortly after the Turner move.
The NBA world had lots of reactions to this surprising deal:
A decade of Myles Turner trade rumors then as soon as everyone assumes he’s staying, he leaves.

There is certainly more dust to settle from Myles Turner landing in Milwaukee, as ESPN reports. I’m being told the big man wanted to remain with the Pacers, who he helped lead to the Finals, but Indiana’s offers for Turner never truly exceeded the three-year, $60 million range.

It’s pretty wild to think about all the dominoes that Haliburton’s Achilles injury might have caused, including this Myles Turner departure. Perhaps he would’ve left anyway, and maybe Indy still is hesitant to spend what they need to. But I hate not really knowing.

Pacers keeping Myles Turner for all these years than letting him walk the year they finally make the NBA Finals is hilarious https://t.co/fusiT8e7It
