Fallout from Daryl Morey’s tweet supporting the protests in Hong Kong continues as NBA signs are coming down all over Shanghai, ahead of the Lakers-Nets game Thursday night. As of now, the game is still on, but the NBA Cares events for both teams have been canceled. Commissioner Adam Silver’s statement Tuesday supported Morey’s right to free speech but added that there may be consequences to him acting on that right.
