The rivalry between LeBron James and the Golden State Warriors has largely been viewed as a victory for the Warriors. But did they really win? The injury-riddled Warriors are currently a lottery team and far removed from the team that went to five straight NBA Finals, winning three of them. LeBron and the Lakers are currently on top of the Western Conference standings. When the Lakers made light work of the Warriors 120-94 on Wednesday night, the only thing that was reminiscent of those battles in the Finals was the greatness of LeBron. SI’s Robin Lundberg explains that despite the Warriors besting LeBron 3-1 in the NBA Finals, he is the only one still standing at the top of the mountain.
