3 Top Bets for Browns and Steelers in Week 11

3 Top Bets for Browns and Steelers in Week 11

In this story:

Cleveland and Pittsburgh will meet on Sunday in what is one of the most important games of the NFL's Week 11 slate. Both of these teams come into action with 6-3 records and are trailing the Baltimore Ravens for the top spot in the AFC North.

While this matchup is highly anticipated I don't know that the play will match the hype. The Steelers come into action with a 28th ranked offense in all of the NFL. Kenny Pickett has struggled all year in this offense but he hangs his hat on not turning the football over.

For the Browns, it felt like their offense was starting to turn the corner a week ago in Baltimore. Amari Cooper had been really starting to get in rhythm, the offense was coming together and suddenly, Deshaun Watsonwas shut down for the rest of the year. We'll see how Dorian Thompson-Robinson responds in his second career start, the first that he had an entire week to prepare.

So what should you bet on in this game? The 32.5 total is one of the lowest in the NFL since a 30.5 total between the Bears and Panthers in 2006. Offense will be at a premium so you must thread the needle with your wagers. Here is what you should bet.

Jerome Ford Over 55.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Jerome Ford is beginning to separate himself as the first and second down back for this Browns offense. If we use last week as an indicator, Ford had 17 carries for 107 yards, good for 6.3 yards per carry against the 12th-ranked rushing defense in the NFL.

While Kareem Hunt may be the short-yardage and goal line guy, hammer this over 55.5 for Jerome Ford. The Steelers are the 25th-ranked run defense and surrender 131.9 yards per game. Expect Ford to get around 20 carries and to end the game around 90 to 100 yards.

Dustin Hopkins Over 5.5 points (-102)

Dustin Hopkins has been so good for the Browns this year. The kicker position was one that was a huge question mark going into this season and Hopkins has been incredible since his arrival. He is 24 for 27 this year with all three of his misses coming from 40-49 yards.

The weather will be great  on Sunday and with the Browns offense being limited, expect a couple of field goal attempts from Hopkins and one or two extra points.

Kareem Hunt Anytime Touchdown (+210)

Kareem has scored a touchdown in five straight games. On a day where the entire Browns team will have Nick Chubb on their mind, expect Kareem to do anything in his power to finish at least one run or pass in the endzone.

A reminder to gamble responsibly on this game and every game. Taking these three bets will get your Sunday off on the right foot!
