Browns Inactives For Week 8 vs. Seahawks

In this story:
The Cleveland Browns unveiled two good pieces of good news when they released their list of inactives for Week 8 against the Seahawks.
RB Jerome Ford (ankle) and OT Jedrick Wills Jr. (foot, ankle) will both be active for the game and are not on the seven-man list, meaning Cleveland will play with its starting running back and top left tackle on the road in Seattle.
Here are the list of inactive players for the Browns:
- QB Deshaun Watson
- WR Cedric Tillman
- CB Khalef Hailassie
- RB Jordan Wilkins
- S Ronnie Hickman
- DE Isaiah McGuire
- DT Siaki Ika
Ford didn’t practice Wednesday or Thursday but was a limited participant Friday, which opened the door for him to potentially play. Wills was a limited participant Wednesday before not practicing at all Thursday. He was also a limited participant Friday.
As expected, Watson will be inactive for the third time in the last four games as he rests his shoulder injury. P.J. Walker will start in his place.
Walker will make his second career start for the Browns after leading them to wins in their last two games. He has yet to throw a touchdown, however, and has thrown three interceptions.
Tillman, a third-round rookie, is a healthy inactive for the second straight week. Ika, also a third-round pick, has yet to be active in a game this season. McGuire, a fourth-round rookie, also has yet to play in a game.
The Seahawks' inactives include the following:
- WR Cody Thompson
- CB Kyu Blu Kelly
- LB Drake Thomas
- OG Phil Haynes
- OT Curtis McClendon
- OT Raiqwon O'Neal
