Browns Targetting Kenyan Drake to Bolster Running Back Room

In this story:
As the trade deadline approaches, teams across the league are trying to find ways to add to their rosters so that they are ready for a late-season push. This is also a time when organizations scrape the free agency market to add depth to their rosters.
On Tuesday morning, the Cleveland Browns appear to be inching closer to making their first move. NFL veteran running back Kenyan Drake posted this to X on Tuesday morning:

Sure, dropping the Pumpkinhead gif on Halloween morning could be a coincidence, but reports last week were that Drake was in the building for a workout, and the Browns were taking a serious look at him.
Drake is in his 10th season and has had stops in Miami, Arizona, Las Vegas and most recently Baltimore.
He is a dynamic back who can carry the ball in the trenches but can also catch the ball out of the backfield. Adding Drake at this point in his career would be a move to bolster the depth in the Browns running back room.
His last highly productive season came in 2020 where he rushed for 955 yards and 10 touchdowns to go along with 137 yards receiving. He has never rushed for over 1,000 yards and has only three seasons where he has combined for over 1,000 yards: 2018, 2019, and 2020.
His most recent stop in Baltimore didn't yield the production he was looking for. Over two years he played in only 14 games, rushing for 482 yards and receiving only 120 yards.
Kenyan Drake would be a welcomed addition to the Browns running back room, and even if he has a little bit of gas left in the tank, he could propel this team to the playoffs once again.
