Browns Tab Eagles Assistant Offensive Line Coach To Work With Andy Dickerson

In this story:
The Browns continue to put the finishing touches on their coaching staff after a few more tweaks came about in recent days. The fallout of veteran offensive line coach Bill Callahan leaving to join his son in Tennessee left the Browns brought more changes to that room after offensive line coach Scott Peters left to join his former colleague Alex Van Pelt in New England.
On Wednesday, reports indicated Cleveland had identified Callahan's replacement, hiring ex-Seahawks offensive line coach Andy Dickerson for the role. Dickerson had already interviewed with the franchise for their offensive coordinator vacancy several weeks prior.
Now, the Browns have identified a replacement for Peters to serve as Dickerson's assistant in the position room, hiring Eagles assistant o-line coach Roy Istvan. Tom Withers of the Associated Press was first to report the news.

Istvan spent past 5 seasons with Philly, working with center Jason Kelce, among others.
Dickerson is replacing Bill Callahan, who left to join his son Brian’s staff in Tennessee.
Istvan spent the last five seasons on Philadelphia's staff, joining the organization while Doug Pederson was still at the helm in 2019. After Pederson was fired following that season, current head coach Nick Sirani opted for retaining Istvan and top offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland.
Together, Stoutland and Istvan have overseen a stout offensive line led by veteran Jason Kelce, that's perfected the art of the controversial "tush push" play for qarterback Jalen Hurts.
Prior to joining the Eagles staff, Istvan spent the first 20-plus years of his career coaching in the college ranks. That phase of his journey included stops at the University at Buffalo, University of Rhode Island and Cornell, among several others.
