Cleveland and Denver meet up in this Week 11 matchup that has incredible playoff implications. Two weeks ago this game was shaping up to be a sleeper as the Broncos were close to losing control of their season and the Browns just lost their quarterback for the year.

To each group's credit, they have responded and are playing winning football. This game on Sunday now has serious playoff implications for the AFC Playoff picture.

Neither team is at full strength. Here is the inactive list for both Cleveland and Denver.

Cleveland Inactives

  • Wide Receiver - Marquise Goodwin
  • Linebacker - Anthony Walker Jr.
  • Cornerback - Denzel Ward
  • Center - Luke Wypler
  • Defensive End - Isaiah McGuire
  • Defensive Tackle - Siaki Ika
  • Tackle - Leroy Watson IV

Denver Inactives

  • Safety - JL Skinner
  • Running Back - Dwayne Washington
  • Linebacker - Ronnie Perkins
  • Linebacker - Thomas Incoom
  • Center - Alex Forsyth
  • Defensive End - Elijah Garcia

A win for Cleveland puts them in a great position for the playoffs. Without knowing the result of the Sunday Night Football Game between Baltimore and Los Angeles, an 8-3 record sets the Browns up to potentially be in first place of the daunting AFC North.

A win for Denver keeps their season alive. There is a log jam in the AFC at 6-5 and 7-4 and the three Wild Card positions will be at a premium. If Denver is able to get to 6-5 and put together five straight victories they will set themselves up with a really good chance at a playoff push.

On the flip side, if Denver falls to 5-6, they will be on the outside looking in for the playoffs.

This game means so much for both teams and Sunday will go a long way in telling the story of the AFC in 2023.
