In this story:

Cleveland and New York face off on Thursday on what has the potential to be a magical night in the city of Cleveland.

A win for Cleveland means playoffs and the Jets are going to try and play spoiler on Thursday night. Each team is on a totally different trajectory and has experienced similar, yet completely different seasons.

Both of these teams started the year with elite defenses, great running backs, one superstar wide receiver with really good receivers behind them, and a quarterback who was supposed to take them to the promised land.

The year didn't go according to plan for either group but for Cleveland, they kept the train on the tracks and are one step away from the playoffs. For New York, they were not able to steady the ship and they are two weeks away from being on a beach.

We have been hot on our picks the last two weeks. Here is this week's best bets:

Joe Flacco OVER 233.5 Passing Yards (-110)

Flacco has thrown for over 300 yards in each of the last three games. He has thrown for over 250 in every one of his Browns starts in 2023. The Jets have a great defense but the Browns will still need an efficient passing attack on Thursday night.

Jerome Ford OVER 44.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

The Jets have one of the worst run defenses in all of the NFL and Cleveland needs to get their rushing attack and Jerome Ford back on track. Expect them to try and run it early and then if Cleveland has a lead in the fourth, they will try to put the finishing touches on the game by running out the clock.

Elijah Moore OVER 33.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

Will tonight be an Elijah Moore revenge game? It very well could be so expect No. 8 to get several touches in the first few drives. The Jets will try and take away Amari Cooper opening up the rest of the field for Moore.

BONUS BET: Amari Cooper Anytime Touchdown (+200)

Cooper has been on fire for the last two weeks. He doubled up on touchdowns against Houston and is finding a rhythm with Joe Flacco. At +200 this is a great bet to add to your slip.

FINAL: Browns -7.5 (-110)

I submitted my prediction that the Browns will roll and indeed they do. Cleveland will get out to an early lead with good offense. Then the defense will get a massive splash play and will precede to choke out the Jets and their chances.

As always, please gamble responsibly.
