Deshaun Watson Returns to Practice Thursday Before Colts

In this story:
The light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer as Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson returns to the practice field on Thursday.
The 3-2 Cleveland Browns are desperately in need of some cohesion on the offensive side of the football. The offense has been on quite a roller coaster ride through eight weeks.
"He's scheduled to get out there today (Thursday) and make some throws. It's part of the process of getting him back ... we'll see how it goes today," said offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt.
They started with a good win versus the Bengals, a four turnover nightmare versus the Steelers, a complete game versus Tennessee and then two straight back up quarterback starts in the ensuing games.
This group needs to start coming together if they want to be the top flight offense that they can be. Thursday in Berea is a step in the right direction.
Deshaun Watson returning to practice does not mean that he will definitely play Sunday. He will still monitor his ability to throw the football effectively and make sure that he is the best option for this team to win.
"I’m not going to put the team in jeopardy if I can’t do certain things that is going to allow us to be handicapped in certain situations."
If he is able to return, this would be the ideal week to do so. His is very comfortable playing in Lucas Oil Stadium against the Indianapolis Colts.
In his career, he has played their three times and has racked up some pretty impressive numbers. Although he is 1-2 as a starter against the Colts, he is averaging 352 yards per game on 72.3 percent completion for five touchdowns against two interceptions.
If he can return to those numbers, watch out, the Browns immediately become a contender.
