The Cleveland Browns defense has been historic at home in 2023. They are giving up a mere 13.1 points per game and have stifled teams in front of the Dawg Pound.

There are plenty of other numbers that provide a look into how dominant the unit has been this season. They've allowed just 800 yards in one more game at home than on the road. Teams can't throw it, they can't run it, they can't do anything when this defense gets in front of their home crowd.

Thursday night is an opportunity that Cleveland has to put an exclamation point on what has been an incredible home season and they are going to face the worst offense in the NFL.

The Jets will be led by quarterback Trevor Siemian, who has appeared in three games this season and has been up and down. He has just 393 yards one touchdown and one interception in his limited time.

However, on Sunday against the Washington Commanders he had his best game, finishing 27-for-49, for one touchdown and one interception and most importantly, a game-winning field goal drive.

Siemian will be joined in the backfield by the Jets' best weapon, Breece Hall. Hall is an incredibly dynamic threat for New York. Last week against Washington he finished with 95 rushing yards, 96 receiving yards and two total touchdowns. He is the engine of this offense.

On the outside, the Jets receiving core is led by former Ohio State Buckeye Garrett Wilson. Wilson is just 42 yards away from his second 1,000-yard receiving season in his second year. He hasn't been able to find the endzone much but he is a threat to go for this offense.

Up front, the Jets' offensive line has been their biggest problem. They have given up 61 sacks on the year which ranks them 31st in the league. They will have their hands full tonight with a hungry Cleveland Browns defense.

For Cleveland, the number one mission will be containing Breece Hall. Mission two is making Trevor Seimian's night horrible by constantly having him under pressure. If they do these two things, the Jets might not score.

Can Cleveland's defense lead the Browns to another win? We'll find out Thursday Night at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
