Nightmares of Mile High Stadium Are A Thing Of The Past

In this story:
The Drive and The Fumble. For most Browns, those two names induce chills. These two games, unfortunately, defined one of the best eras in Cleveland Browns' history. The Browns had some of their best teams ever assembled, but John Elway's Broncos were a nightmare for Cleveland.
Those two games were just two playoff examples of the Broncos getting the best of the Browns. However, this matchup has been historically dominated by Denver. The Broncos lead the all-time record 24-7 and are 11-4 at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium.
Kevin Stefanski and these Cleveland Browns are trying to make these Bronco woes a thing of the past.
The Browns have won two of the last three matchups between the two franchises and have split the last two in Denver. Stefanski is 1-0 against the Broncos and he is very familiar with beating them without his quarterback and running back.
While all of the history means nothing for the players in this game it is everything for the fans. Sunday's game is a huge opportunity for this Browns team to all but cement themselves in the playoffs and give this fanbase a win over this hated franchise.
How can the Browns get it done on Sunday? For Cleveland, their game plan early on is going to be very similar to what we watched against Pittsburgh last week. If they can control the game on the ground and just not turn the football over, they will win this game going away.
At the end of the game, it doesn't matter if the Browns have 30 more points or just one more point than Denver. What does matter is ending the nightmare that is Mile High Stadium.
