Power Rankings: Where Browns Sit After Huge Week 6 Win

In this story:
The Cleveland Browns are moving up everyone’s power rankings after their incredible upset win in Week 6, and that includes the Sports Illustrated rankings from Connor Orr, where the Browns are ranked No. 14 after their 19-17 triumph over the unbeaten 49ers.
The Browns, who were 19th in last week’s rankings, saw a steady climb but are still behind the Seahawks, Jets and Chargers in Orr’s rankings.
Orr, however, had complementary things to say about the Browns’ efforts.
“The Browns were everywhere defensively on Sunday, and while they benefited from a few fatal errors on behalf of the 49ers, this is the beauty of the team they created: rarely will the Browns be out of a game due to the construction of their roster. Another thing I learned (or, I suppose, had re-instilled in my memory): Amari Cooper is elite elite. He took over segments of that game against a very physical and fast secondary.”
Perhaps the Browns will see an even bigger jump if Deshaun Watson returns and efficiently leads the offense, which he did in their 27-3 win over the Titans in Week 3. Watson, of course, has yet to play since then after suffering an injury to his throwing shoulder, and one major question the Browns face is if he’ll be able to sustain that same level of crispness.
Most other national outlets have the Browns ranked higher.
Here’s where some of them have slotted Cleveland.
