Sione Takitaki Heads Cleveland Browns Inactives vs. Indianapolis

In this story:
Star quarterback Deshaun Watson will make his long-awaited return to the field for the Cleveland Browns on Sunday to face the Indianapolis Colts, after missing nearly a month of time with a bruised rotator cuff. Despite concluding the week of practice listed as questionable still dealing with the effects of the injury sustained back in Week 3 win against Tennessee, Watson was a full participant at Friday and is off the team's inactive list this morning.
Also making a return this week is veteran guard Joel Bitonio, who just two weeks ago had his knee scoped, forcing him to miss the team's Week 6 win over San Francisco. The absence cost Bitonio a 6,846 consecutive snaps played streak.
The only player ruled out following Friday's practice was LB Sione Takitaki.
Browns Week 7 Inactives vs. Indianpolis
- LB Sione Takitaki
- QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson
- CB Kahlef Hailassie
- S Ronnie Hickman
- DE Isaiah McCguire
- DT Siaki Ika
Two Browns that were questionable all week that missed the Inactive Report are TE Harrison Bryant and RB Kareem Hunt. Expect those two to go this afternoon in Indianapolis.
For Indianapolis, DT Deforest Buckner may not have practiced all week, but the team designated that as rest for the run stopper. The same goes for center Ryan Kelly who had no injury designation Friday and will play today.
Colts Week 7 Inactives vs. Cleveland
- G Ike Boettger
- TE Kylen Granson
- DE Isaiah Land
- T Braden Smith
- CB Ameer Speed
The Colts being down their starting tackle and tight end does not bode well for their chances against this Browns defensive line. They will have to be creative in protection to keep Gardner Minshew upright.
