WATCH: Browns Quarterback Deshaun Watson Returns to Practice Thursday

In this story:
Deshaun Watson's return-to-play process continued on Thursday, but for the first time since he injured his shoulder, that involved him getting back to throwing the football on the practice field.
Browns receiver Amari Cooper mentioned to reporters late Thursday morning that Watson was likely going to be on the practice field, which was later confirmed by offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt when he met with the media.
Of course, that sent Browns Nation into a frenzy as it is starting to look like Cleveland is close to getting it's starting quarterback back on the field.
Take a look at some footage of Deshaun on the practice field in Berea.
Deshaun Watson working his way back. Will he play this weekend? We’ll see. But for now, he’s working his way back. I didn’t see him make a throw more than 30 yards, but it was a casual setting. #Browns pic.twitter.com/TfEhmJhRr1

It is important to note that just because Watson is practicing does not mean he is a guarantee to play on Sunday. He still has to make sure that he is good to go and feels like he can do what he needs to to put the team in position to win.
The Browns are staring at a Week 7 game that feels like a must win. But don't they all in the NFL? Sure, if they lose this game, Cleveland still has all of their goals in front of them. However, the team has so much momentum right now after a big win against San Francisco and getting Watson back would inject a different life into the team.
Having Deshaun back this week would be huge for an offense that is still trying to find its way. The group has been injured all over the field and has lacked consistency of performance and availability.
With all of the changes that have been taking place, it has been really hard to build any sort of chemistry in each other.
Watson's availability on Sunday will go a long way to building that chemistry, building that confidence and sending this team on an upward trajectory.
For now, it's good to see him back on the practice field.
