Freestyle skiing at the 2018 Winter Olympics will consist of five men's events and five women's events.

Slopestyle takes place on a course composed of various obstacles such as rails, tables, boxes, walls and jumps. Athletes can choose their obstacles for their performance and will be graded by five judges. Contestants (both men and women) will perform twice and use their higher score to determine if they advance to the finals.

Moguls are artificially created bumps on a ski slope. Competitors will be judged on their turning technique, air maneuvers and speed.

Aerials consist of athletes performing acrobatic twists and flips in the air after skiing off 2-4 meter jumps. Judges grade skiers based on air performance (take-off, height, length), form (style, execution of motion, accuracy) and landing.

In Ski Cross, a group of four athletes compete on a course with various terrain structures such as banks, rollers, spines and jumps. Rankings will be determined based on finish time.

Ski Halfpipe contains skiers gliding down a halfpipe slope performing aerial skills such as jumps and turns. Judges grade the skier's general performance such as height, turn, technique and difficulty. Athletes perform twice and use their higher score to determine if they advance to the finals.

The Games will be broadcast on NBC, NBCSN and across the networks of NBC Universal. Every Olympic event will be available to stream live and on-demand on and the NBC Sports app.
