Roma captain Totti returns to training

AS Roma star Francesco Totti returned to the club's Trigoria training ground on Tuesday. The captain is continuing his rehabilitation process after he underwent surgery on his right knee in late April.

Within the next few days, Totti will be visited by the surgeon who performed all his operations, Pierpaolo Mariani, who will verify the status of his progress.

Next week, Er Pupone will begin to gradually increase his workload in order to strengthen his muscles and test the responses of his joints.

Totti's ACL was partially damaged during a match with Livorno in April and was given an estimated recovery time of four to six months.
