Diarra looks set to make return for Real Madrid

Lassana Diarra returned to training on Friday and is in line to play against Sevilla on Sunday in Real Madrid's biggest test of the season in the league so far.

The French international was joined by Alvaro Arbeloa and Christoph Metzelder in the training session and all three are set to be given the green light to appear at the Sanchez Pizjuan, according to Madrid's official Web site.

Cristiano Ronaldo is hopeful of making a recovery, but will be a game-time decision.

Sergio Ramos, Kaka and Guti were all back in full training as well and enjoyed the tactical exercises and the workouts with the ball the coaches employed.

Club captain Raul Gonzalez was not present in training as he was in Copenhagen to support Madrid's bid to host the 2016 Olympic Games.
