Ibrahimovic won't play for Sweden for now

Highly rated attacker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has made it clear that he won't be representing Sweden for now, as he prefers to focus on Barcelona at the moment.

"It has always been a great honor to play for Sweden, but for now, I will not play in the national team because I am not motvated," Ibrahimovic told Swedish reporters.

"There are no World Cup or important matches coming up. It would be a waste of energy to play in Sweden's upcoming friendly matches because there are so many matches for Barcelona coming up.

"I have already informed [Sweden coach] Erik Hamren of my decision. I do not know what will happen in the future. We will have to see what happens next year."

Ibrahimovic joined Barcelona in July from Inter Milan and has been an instant success at the Camp Nou, scoring 10 goals in La Liga despite struggling with a thigh strain since October.
