Ray Reid's Connecticut Huskies won a pair of home matches in Big East play this week, defeating Providence and Pittsburgh to remain at No. 1 in the TopDrawerSoccer.com Tournament 48 National Ranking for men's college soccer. The Huskies continue to edge out North Carolina, New Mexico and Maryland, who all won during the week as well, and Akron who moves past Creighton and back into the top 5 after a pair of victories.

Elsewhere, Charlotte's Guiseppe Gentile has been named TopDrawerSoccer.com's Men's College Player of the Week for his four goals, as the 49ers beat Duquesne and St. Bonaventure.
