Benfica vs. Chelsea instant analysis

Chelsea's fist-pumping comeback against Napoli has leant a whiff of hope to this mediocre season at Stamford Bridge set up a scintillating Champions League quarterfinal against Benfica, who also overcame a first-half deficit to make it this far. Jorge Jesus' side hasn't made it to the semi-finals in more than 20 years, but has already helped to put Manchester United out of this year's competition (thanks to a couple of draws in the group stage) and has gone 10 games -- more than a year -- unbeaten at home in Europe. It says a lot that, according to the midfielder Javi Garcia, Chelsea was not among the teams Benfica players crossed their fingers and hoped to avoid when the draw was made. Chelsea has a pretty strong record against Portuguese opposition, however. Find out what happens with live play by play updates from 2.30 p.m. ET.
