MANCHESTER, England (AP) - Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has been released from hospital after being concussed during Sunday's Premier League game against Arsenal.

The Serbian defender left the field shortly before halftime after colliding with United goalkeeper David de Gea.

Vidic was clearly dazed and was sent to a hospital for examination by the club.

On Monday, United said Vidic had been released.
