Thursday World Cup Odds: Who's favored to win England-Uruguay?

Three goals on Greece is no easy feat, and it suggests that Colombia is as good as was advertised leading up to the World Cup. This game will in all likelihood decide which team wins the group.

Group D: Uruguay vs. England

England is going off at +100 to beat Uruguay outright, with Uruguay paying +270 to win the game and +260 to play to a draw. On the two-way line, England is a -210 favorite over Uruguay (+170). The total is set at 2.5 goals.

What once looked like one of the toughest groups in the World Cup to predict became a lot clearer after the first week of play. England's loss to Italy and Uruguay's stunning loss to Costa Rica have put both teams into a must-win situation in this game.

Luis Suarez may not be at 100 percent, but after the debacle against Costa Rica with him on the sideline, he is expected to be inserted in the starting lineup on Thursday. Group C: Japan vs. Greece

Greece's attack leaves plenty to be desired, but the team has been known in recent years to be capable of shutting down just about any opposing offense. Was the 0-3 loss to Colombia a fluke, or will Japan also be able to solve this defense?

Japan's technically sound game should make it difficult on Greece to score, making it likely that goals could be hard to come by in the game if Greece gets things back on track defensively.
