Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is active for Wednesday's Champions League match against Galatasaray, the BBC reports.

Wilshere, 22, injured his ankle during last Saturday's 1-1 draw against Tottenham and left the game in the 62nd minute. Manager Arsene Wenger said he has not decided whether Wilshere will start or come off the bench.

"Jack was a doubt but recovered quite well," said Gunners boss Arsene Wenger. "Whether he starts or not, I have to be cautious about, but he's in the squad."

Wilshere has one goal and one assist during the Premier League season, each of which came Sept. 13 against Manchester City.

Midfielders Aaron Ramsey and Mikel Arteta will not play Wednesday and are also expected to miss Sunday's Premier League match against Chelsea.

The 23-year-old Ramsey injured his hamstring and exited last Saturday's match in the 45th minute. Ramsey, who has two goals and one assist in domestic play this season, also had an ankle injury last month. Wenger said he expected Ramsey to recover quicker.

"It is a concern that Ramsey did his hamstring," added Wenger.

"I don't understand because he had a good rest this week and I didn't play him against Southampton on Tuesday.

"It's a surprise because he's usually a resistant boy."

Arteta, 32, injured his calf against Tottenham and was substituted out in the 27th minute.

In addition to the three most recent injuries, Arsenal is still notably without Oliver Giroud, Mathieu Debuchy and Theo Walcott.
