LONDON (AP) — Chelsea maintained its five-point lead at the top of the Premier League on Saturday with a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.

Both teams were reduced to 10 men in a dramatic end to the first half that had earlier seen Oscar open the scoring.

The Brazilian midfielder put the visitors ahead with an exquisite free kick in the sixth minute from 30 yards out.

Referee Craig Pawson dismissed Chelsea fullback Cesar Azpilicueta in the 40th for a two-footed challenge on Mile Jedinak and within a minute he gave Palace defender Damien Delaney his second booking after he brought down Loic Remy.

Cesc Fabregas added the second in the 51st - his first league goal in Chelsea colors before Frazier Campbell netted a 90th minute consolation.
