MANCHESTER (AP) — Manchester United eased to a 3-0 victory against Stoke in the Premier League on Tuesday, producing an attacking display at Old Trafford.

Jesse Lingard opened the scoring with a close-range header after 14 minutes for Louis van Gaal's team. It was United's first home goal in the first half in 11 league matches.

Anthony Martial doubled the advantage nine minutes later, collecting a neat pass from Juan Mata on the left before sweeping home with a curling effort across goal.

United captain Wayne Rooney completed the scoring on 53 minutes from close range against an underwhelming Stoke side.

Memphis Depay could have got a fourth goal for United late on but the substitute shot narrowly over the crossbar.
