SI’s Grant Wahl reported last week that Conte was the most likely choice for Chelsea, and that he had met with team officials twice already.
According to the report, Conte, 46, has agreed in full with the club, and the final step will be securing official approval from owner Roman Abramovich.
Conte managed Juventus to three straight Serie A titles from 2012 to ’14 before taking over the national team. He went 102–34–15 with Juventus and holds a 9–5–2 mark with Italy.
