Inter Milan signs Argentina's Ever Banega from Sevilla

The midfielder heads to the San Siro on a three-year deal.

Ever Banega is leaving three-time reigning Europa League champion Sevilla for Serie A's Inter Milan, signing a three-year deal with the Italian club.

Banega, 28, spent the last two seasons at Sevilla following a lengthy stint at Valencia that also included loans to Atletico Madrid and Argentina's Newell's Old Boys. Banega, who came up through the Boca Juniors system, was part of Argentina's Copa America runner-up side, and he'll hope to help an Inter side that will miss out on the Champions League yet again after finishing fourth in Italy's top flight last season.

Banega had 12 goals across all competitions for Sevilla in the last two seasons and he joins countrymen Rodrigo Palacio and Mauro Icardi at Inter, where he'll play for manager Roberto Mancini.
