LIVE: Portugal vs. Wales, Euro 2016 semifinals

Follow here for up-to-the-second updates and score as Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal and Gareth Bale's Wales fight for a place in the Euro 2016 final.

One place in the Euro 2016 final is up for grabs, as Portugal and Wales battle in Lyon for the right to advance to Sunday's championship match.

Led by Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal is aiming to return to the final for the first time since 2004, when it fell to Greece on home soil. Portugal has yet to win a match in 90 minutes during Euro 2016, but it is a step away from the grand stage. Standing in its way is Gareth Bale-led Wales, which is participating in its first major semifinal ever. Wales will be without suspended starters Aaron Ramsey and Ben Davies, but with Bale at the wheel and a team-first mentality that has gotten the Dragons to this point, they can't be counted out.

Follow along for complete play-by-play, lineups, goalscorers and more in the gamecast below. For up-to-the-minute Euro 2016 schedules, history and statistics, go to our tournament home.

The winner will play either France or Germany in the finals on Sunday.
