Manchester United has opened negotiations with Juventus for a record transfer of midfielder Paul Pogba, Sky Sports reports.
Ed Woodward, Manchester United’s chief executive, has reportedly been negotiating a deal worth £100 million ($129.36 million) that would bring Pogba back to Old Trafford after he left in 2012.
Pogba is currently competing in the Euro 2016 tournament with France, which plays Germany in the semifinals on Thursday. France would face Portugal on Sunday if the squad was to advance to the final.
Pogba and his representatives want to wait until after France is out of the tournament before proceeding with any transfer negotiations, according to Sky Sports.
Real Madrid is also reportedly interested in Pogba.
