AC Milan to Enter Negotiations Over Fluminense Striker Richarlison in €15m Deal
AC Milan are looking to enter the transfer market again this summer in their pursuit of Brazilian youngster Richarlison. The Fluminense striker has become a target of Milan boss Vincenzo Montella after impressive performances in the Série A and with the Brazilian U20 side, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
Richarlison would be joining the likes of Leonardo Bonucci, Hakan Calhanoglu and André Silva at the San Siro following a busy summer from AC Milan. The Italians are spending big in an attempt to reclaim their place amongst the European elite, having made ten signing already.
Fluminense have set the 20-year-old's price tag at €15m in an attempt to hold onto their young star. Last summer, the Brazilian side lost their star midfielder to Serie A runners up AS Roma in a deal similar to the one of Richarlison. The midfielder, who is also part of the Brazilian U20 squad, joined Roma on a five-year deal and is deemed as a player for the future at the Stadio Olimpico.
Richarlison is everything you expect from a young Brazilian striker. Pacey and skilful, the 20-year-old would fit the mould of a lot of strikers in the Serie A. He would join compatriots Felipe Anderson and Gabriel 'Gabigol' Barbosa in a league that is often a platform for Brazilian talent to move to the next level in their development.
