Everton are lining up a bid of around £15m for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, according to reports in The Sun.

The striker, on-loan at Bristol City, has been in scintillating form for the Robins this season. Abraham has found the net 22 times in 38 Championship appearances, placing him second in the top goalscorer list behind Leeds' Chris Wood.

Chelsea are keen to keep hold of Abraham - especially with the rumours surrounding Diego Costa's move to China. However, should Chelsea bring in Toffees striker Romelu Lukaku, the chances of Abraham getting a game for the Blues is slim.

It's believed that Abraham could be used as a bargaining tool to get Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge and a deal would work well for both sides, with Ronald Koeman ensuring that he is not left short in the attacking department.

Koeman allegedly sent scouts to watch Abraham in recent weeks, and the Englishman has certainly caught the eye of the Dutchman.

However, the Toffees could face a battle for the 19-year-old's signature, with Leicester, Middlesbrough and newly-promoted Brighton all taking an interest in the striker.

Everton currently sit in 6th place in the Premier League - six points off of the top four. However, Manchester United and Manchester City, who both directly sit above the Merseyside club in the table, have games in hand over Koeman's side.

They face Chelsea at Goodison Park in their next Premier League game on the 30th of April.
